This light to medium weight sequins fabric has a pronounced vertical stretch with a slight horizontal mechanical stretch. The fabric also has an artistically finished embroidery selvage that helps to prevent the sequins from unravelling or fraying. Unlike most sequins fabrics offered by other manufacturers, the starlight sequins is manufactured on a nylon mesh as opposed to a polyester ground. Nylon mesh is much stronger and more durable than its polyester counterpart. Even when stretched heavily, the fabric is able to recover to its original form because of the nylon composition. Polyester mesh fabrics don’t recover nearly as well when stretched, leaving the fabric and sequins extremely worn. The starlight sequins is truly at the top of its class.
